Signing the Register - Fleetwood Mac - Songbird and Bright Eyes - First Day of My Life

A first dance to a classic from Eric Clapton Wonderful Tonight and it certainly was. A mix of music including some song memories from Anna's hen night, RnB and some dance classics from the 90's with a spattering of requests and party tunes.
Bouquet Toss - the ever popular Single Ladies - Beyonce
Absolute belter all round.. Finishing the night on Gerry and the Pacemakers - You'll Never Walk Alone

A super bouquet toss from the top of the stairs to the restaurant .
Great working alongside Chris from @ChocolateChipPhotography
Evening playlist anything from Motown, 90's Pop, some R&B, Dance Classics and some good old party cheese.
Great venue and got to use a bit of haze too so an added bonus.
Congratulations to the brand new Mr & Mrs Homan
After doing Chloe's 18th Birthday 3 years ago I was asked back to DJ at her 21st Birthday Party, oh how the time flies.
Not a beach theme this time but a rumble in the jungle.
Lovely venue and superb buffet at Rialto's in Ponteland.
A great night for Chloe surrounded by family and friends with some fantastic outfits on display.
Happy 21st Chloe xx
Steve and Karen chose the very grand Beamish Hall in County Durham, set in fantastic grounds as the dream location for their wedding.
A very personal wedding ceremony for Steve and Karen featuring readings from family and friends and a candle ceremony involving the couple and their respective mothers. Karen was given away by her brother Andrew and the Best Man was the groom's son Tiernan who did a fantastic job.
I assisted throughout the day with the music from the start of the day until the very end of the day along with Master of Ceremony Services.
All of the music for the day had a direct input from the couple.
The processional song was a cover of Koadline's The One by John Adams and Matt Johnson.
The Recessional Song was Karen's late father's favourite song which I edited for maximum effect.
A First Dance to Ellie Goulding's - How Long Will I Love You.
End of the night song was Hermes House Band - Country Roads.
A super day for a fabulous couple.
Another absolute cracker of a wedding at the fabulous Horton Grange Hotel for Ray and Gillian.
Good to work alongside another top pro again @DanClarkPhotography
- Processional Song – Ronan Keating – This I Promise You
- Signing the Register – Tale as old as time- Celina Dion, Everyday I love you- Boyzone, When you say nothing at all- Ronan Keating
- Recessional - Greatest Show - Edited
- Entrance Song - Bill Conti - Gonna Fly Now
- First Dance - Boyzone - Best Night of Our LIves
A good old mix of music with a few songs banned from the night including Saturday Night, Cotton Eyed Joe, Steps and the Macarena.
A couple of encore songs at the end of the night including Ray's favourite artist Eminem.
Hi Ian. Just want to say a huge thank you for making our wedding so fantastic. We danced all night and you went above and beyond for us.
Brilliant night all around with lots of love in the room for the happy couple.
Some fab comments from the couple and guests as well as staff from @HortonGrangeHotel
Many congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Martino.
Gillian had this to say "Hi Ian. Just want to say a huge thank you for making our wedding so fantastic. We danced all night and you went above and beyond for us."
The bad weather didn't dampen the spirits at Peter and Layla's Wedding with a very different and unique venue.
A surprise processional song was chosen and it certainly was unique ... the theme from Jurassic Park.
A special moving ceremony with contributions from friends and family.
Music throughout the day and a ceilidh thrown into the mix for a wedding with Peter and Layla's stamp all over it.
A Ceilidh Band helped put the couples personality and unique take on their wedding celebration.
The nightmare load in made a whole lot easier with each guest taking a bit of my kit to the trailer as they left.
Fab night for a super couple.
Layla had this to say "Really really great DJ!! Can't recommend Ian enough. I emailed a load of DJs for our wedding and Ian was the only one I was impressed with. He was thorough and he really cared about making the day ours. He gave us help and advice, and although our venue was a little tricky for him to access it didn't stop him! I've had a lot of great comments from our guests about the DJ and the music, so I really can't recommend Ian enough :)"
Well that was a marathon day indeed but so so worth it an awesome celebration from the very start to the finish for the wedding of Ben and Loren Debnam surrounded by their family and friends.
An excellent venue requiring three separate set ups with the ceremony in the orangery, the wedding breakfast in the Tipi and then back to the Orangery for the evening party.
I provided the music and Master of Ceremony services throughout the day as well as the p.a. for speeches.
A carefully orchestrated processional entrance to Christina Perri's A Thousand Years mean the song and the brides entrance was powerful and emotional.
An upbeat introduction into the wedding breakfast also raised the tempo of an already upbeat day.
Some very touching and emotional moments during the speeches and an epic Best Mans speech which overran by around half an hour and will certainly be remembered.
An acoustic singer provided some entertainment after the wedding breakfast creating an opportunity to set up for the evening wedding party in the Orangery.

A small intimate wedding for Charlie and Becky at the fabulous Le Petit Chateau in Otterburn.
An eclectic mix of music with Sam Cooke - Nothing can change this love as a first dance tune.
The sparkler send off was unfortunately cancelled due to fire safety concerns but the night had more than enough sparkle anyway.
Congratulations to the brand new Mr & Mrs Wallace.

Jamie and Amy chose @kirkleyhall as the venue for their wedding celebration.
The groom, best man and groomsman all choosing to wear a traditional kilt and why not given there was a large Scots contingent at the wedding from Jamie's Homeland in this Anglo-Scots Union.
Little Alfie also joined in with his kilt too and loving his Audi A3 with the Just Married sign and cans on the back .. so cute.
A First Dance to Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Beyonce preceded by a cake cutting with U2 and A Beautiful Day providing the backdrop.
The dancing was off to an early start with a mix of current charts, indie and clubland classics and cheese with a few controversial Scots anthems thrown into the mix.
A special request to play a song so the guests could do the "Slosh" and Daniel Boone Beautiful Sunday was the song requested.
I provided and IPad with carefully selected playlists agreed with the couple to cater for the daytime music needs. The couple had booked a pianist for the wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast.
Congratulations to the new Mrs and Mrs Lowe and all the very best for your future together.

Kat and Mikayla travelled to Le Petit Chateau in Otterburn Northumberland to tie the knot and celebrate their marriage.
A double bouquet toss from the beautiful brides followed by a choreographed First Dance to Pink's Raise Your Glass.
An eclectic mix of music throughout the night and plenty of requests from the guest who were all up for a party.
Fabulous celebration and many congratulations to Kat and Mikayla.
As a Wedding DJ I just love weddings like this where the guests are really up for a party.
Mikayla had this to say:
"Ian was absolutely amazing and had the dance floor busy all night. Played something for everyone and got in all of our key songs. Could not recommend highly enough. Thank you for helping to make our day so special!"
Rachel and Camron were married at 4pm at the Assembly Rooms in Newcastle.
I was boooked to provided the evening disco for Amy and Rachel for their wedding celebration at Eshott Hall.
I met with Amy and Rachel a few months ago for our initial consultation and a discussion about the music they liked, what they didn't like, the music they required for the key parts of their evening and also to discuss the access arrangements for the venue.
Since this time we had been in touch with each other several times by email to make sure that all aspects of the evening celebration were absolutely clear.
I visited the venue the day before the wedding to ensure that I was clear on the access arrangements, location of power sockets and the available space for my disco set up.
Access to the venue was excellent and there was adequate space for the set up I had in mind.
My white wedding set up was chosen and very much in keeping with the classy feel of the venue.
I would have around 60 minutes to set up and sound check my equipment from around 5.30pm till 6.30pm as it happens I was impressed that the wedding was running ahead of schedule and got access slightly earlier than originally planned.
I spoke with Lauren the wedding planner at the venue so I was clear on the timings for the key parts of the night. It was pretty straight forward with an early start to the night with the bouquet toss, followed straight after by the cutting of the cake and the first dance with the evening buffet at 9pm/
I double checked with Amy and Rachel that they were happy for their guests to join them after the first chorus for their first dance.
Everything went like clockwork.
I encouraged all of the ladies who wanted to try and catch the bouquet to come forward which they duly obliged.
I invited all of the guests to come forward for photographs for the cake cutting after the official photographer had taken his shots.
For the first dance I got all of the guests to form a circle around the dancefloor so everyone had a good view of their firstdance together as a married couple and of course this would be easier to get them involved in the first dance as they were already where they needed to be.
From the off this crowd knew how to party and this turned into and absolutely outstanding and thoroughly awesome celebration for Amy and Rachel on their wedding day.
I even organised an improptu drinking competition between the Hockey Girls versus the Guys from the Grey Horse who were well beaten on the night.
Lots of requests from the guests on the night with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart a classic from Amy's hen night in Marbella being appreciated by everyone.
"Ian, A huge thanks from Rachel and I for making our day so special, it truly was amazing. We will certainly be leaving you a review, you were awesome, thank you so much. And also thanks very much for the videos, they were a lovely surprise. As you could see, everyone loved the choice of music, I don’t think we left the dance floor for more than 5 mins!! Thank you so much. As the venue said, it was one of the “liveliest wedding party’s they’d seen for years!” Amy and Rachel, Eshott Hall, Morpeth,Northumberland.
Brilliant wedding for a brilliant couple!
